Programme description
Accent Plumbing & Heating Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) sends text messages to customers who have booked a plumbing or heating service with us. The messages relate to the work you have booked and include:
- Appointment confirmations — confirming your date, arrival window, and service address
- Technician dispatch notices — letting you know when a technician is on the way to your property
- Service follow-up — a message after a completed job inviting you to leave a review
We do not send promotional or marketing messages, and we do not send messages on behalf of any other business.
How you join the programme
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive these messages when you book a service with us, whether by telephone, in person, or through our website. We only send messages to people who have booked work with us. We do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the work you have booked. In a typical job you would receive two or three messages.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge you for these messages.
How to opt out
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will not send you any further texts.
You may also opt out by calling us on (587) 896-6388 or emailing info@accenthome.ca.
Opting out of text messages does not affect the service you receive. We will simply contact you by telephone or email instead.

Supported carriers and carrier liability
This programme is available on major Canadian mobile carriers. Carrier participation may change without notice.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier’s network and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered promptly. You should not rely solely on text messages for time-critical information; if you need to confirm anything about your appointment, please call us.
Your mobile number
Mobile phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf, and only for that purpose.
Eligibility
You must be the account holder or authorised user of the mobile number you provide, and you must be at least 18 years of age. If you change or give up your mobile number, please let us know so that we do not message someone else in error.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised.
